All 65 teams bound for the NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010 have been decided so it’s time to look in depth at the brackets. The one thing that didn’t particularly shock anyone was the four Number 1 seeds.

The Eastern bracket though seems to have the most interesting story with the number 1 seed Kentucky and their freshman John Wall who appears likely to be their number one draft pick. Although whilst playing for the Wildcats this year he has shown ability for the big play, the NCAA tournament will be a challenge, requiring fortune, flair and familiarity.

The Kansas Jayhawks certainly have the experience required, assuring their number 1 seed in the Midwest bracket by triumphing in the Big 12 conference. Sherron Collins is their senior point guard, strongly backed up by Cole Aldrich and freshman Xavier Henry. Meanwhile looking at the South bracket we have Duke as the number 1 seed again. The team can really show a vibrant display of flair with shooting aces Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer.

In the West the number 1 seed spot was taken by the Syracuse Orangemen even though they lost their center Arinze Onuaku with a right knee injury in the Big East tournament against the Georgetown Hoyas. Fortunately though they are led by Wes Johnson, the Big East player of the year.

For more on this NCAA Tournament preview go to <a

Previously some companies have prepared special scenes to be viewed from the air, such as crop circles, or even company logos.

However now that Street View is enjoying such massive popularity we’ve heard reports of whole cities being dressed up to pose for the cameras. One place that’s really trying to improve its image is Windsor, Canada which was rather caught out when the Google cars first visited.

According to gearthblog.com the city was in the midst of industrial action on Google’s first trip with the cameras. Images were captured of trash in the streets, untidy sports fields and even worse, the scene of a recent murder complete with bloody bandages and crime tape.

Although the murder scene images were removed by Google, Ron Jones, a Windsor councillor would like Google to re-visit, even suggesting the council would pay for them to come back to re-shoot the new improved Windsor. While on the surface this sounds like a great idea, it’s not likely that Google will go along with it as otherwise the images collected by the Google cars would not always be truly representative, especially if other places started requesting visits by appointment.

Would you like the Google cameras to return to the area where you live to capture more attractive pictures? Maybe you have some suggestions of places that should be smartened up before the Google cars pass by again?

Will the new iPhone 4G be named the iPhone HD, rumor or not?

Worldwide

Cell Phones
<guid

We’re not sure how much of the commercial is to be believed but it shows a completely different chassis, and there is a chance of a front facing camera for video calling.<span

They mention for example that the design is radically different from the current iPhone, and they do have a valid point asking why Apple would change a sleek design for one that’s so much heftier.

Another good point they make is that when Apple have remained so quiet about the design, the carrier, the features, and the release date, why would they suddenly leak a video such as this one which would go against their usual grain.

Do you think this is just more rumors about the iPhone and its features? As she reached Guyana and touched a pier there, her journey was over and she had achieved the success she worked so hard for.

Katie had been on her own at sea for more than 2 months and must have been comforted by the hugs of her father and brother when she arrived, as hundreds of well-wishers cheered her triumph. Her rowing boat had measured only 6 metres long and her arduous journey was 2,817 miles (4,533 kilometres) long, lasting since January 3 when she started out from Senegal.

Her goal was not so much to achieve personal glory but to raise awareness and funds for the Blue Planet Run Foundation, a charity trying to achieve the goal of clean drinking water for all people of the world. To achieve her aim she had to row around 10 hours a day, drifting at night on her boat equipped with solar panels for power, a laptop and satellite phone.

Only this past Saturday Katie had to extinguish a fire when a piece of equipment ignited. She is a woman of amazing feats as she has already cycled across the U.S. and in 2008 she swam the 325 mile length of the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania. For more information go to <a

If you haven’t noticed its March 15, a date otherwise known as the Ides of March and why should 2010 be any different from other Ides of March days. If you want to know the history and meaning of this expression look no further.

So what is the significance of March 15? Historically the ides was a day in the Roman calendar marking roughly the centre of the month, but it’s perhaps better known for an event that occurred in 44 B.C., the date that Julius Caesar was killed. A very notorious phrase to do with the Ides of March, or Idus Martias, stems from the Shakespeare play of ‘Julius Caesar’, when Caesar was warned, “Beware of the Ides of March”.

However it also became known for another event, an ancient yearly festival devoted to the god Mars. Another historic event that happened on the date was the abdication of Nicholas II of Russia in 1917. Nowadays rather than people being wary of the date and what may happen, we are more likely to notice spring is imminent, St. Patricks day is in two days time and ‘March Madness’ occurs.

The 1848 Revolution in Hungary is also marked with a national holiday on this date, and in Japan it’s the date for Harvest Festival. For more information on this historic date go to <a

It was not only the pain of his snapped Achilles tendon that caused him to break down, but more than likely the realisation that not only would his injury rule him out of the 2010 World Cup, but it would probably mean the end of his England career.

The injury will be operated on but Beckham will know that his career in top flight international football must soon be at an end, and that he won’t make the successive fourth World Cup tournament that he longed for. He has been a role model for kids and a great ambassador not only for English football but for football as a whole. Somehow one always felt better with Beckham on the squad, even if he was only waiting on the bench.

He’ll probably be able to make a return to club football, though not very likely at AC Milan level. Will he be satisfied with anything less now though after such a prominent and successful career? His future may well lie in football management though he has always shown more interest in coaching kids and setting up his training academies.

I would love to be wrong and fervently hope I am, but I do fear that Beckham will never play for England again. As a Manchester United hero and England legend he’s more than done his bit, but I for one will be sad to see him go. For more on this story go to <a

I however will not specify which carrier(s) will have contracts with Apple. Please be patient”.

The email continues on to say they are working hard to make the iPhone 4G the best one yet and thanks people for their support. Apparently the Phones Review site has also had queries from some of their readers querying the emails validity.

We are intrigued and we know many of you will be too. A source for the Financial Times says that is it a 99.9% certainty that plans for mothballing the Chinese end of the business will be initiated.

Since Google’s entry into China in 2006 there have been disagreements simmering on the surface about censorship in the country. To get round local censorship laws Google had to tell its users in China that their results were being censored.

However after Google learned in January that human rights activists Gmail accounts had been hacked into, they warned they may stop censoring on google.cn. Although things had to be left unspoken this implied that Google felt the Chinese government were implicated in the hacking. Google then said that they were intending to “shut down” Google.cn if a compromise with the government could not be reached.

The situation now looks set to be at a dead end with neither party willing to budge. Google’s main concerns presently are how to withdraw from the venture without local employees being jeopardised in any way. For more on this story go to <a

The man is Derek Paravicini, a 30-year-old British savant, and his astounding story stunned viewers who rarely see anything like this man and his talent.<span

However if Leslie Stahl asked him to play any piece of music on the piano he could remember the piece and play it perfectly, or also alter the style of the piece to that of other artists.

The condition Derek suffers from was made known to millions of people in the film Rainman, in which the main character was played by Dustin Hoffman. The popular actor died yesterday outside his home, apparently suffering from a heart attack, just before his 84th birthday. Graves was with his wife of 60 years at the time, according to Sandy Brokaw, his publicist.

Peter Graves was perhaps best known as renowned character Jim Phelps in ‘Mission Impossible’, after first becoming known in the 1950’s series ‘Fury’. He appeared in many films and TV roles over the years and was critically acclaimed for his astounding performance as a Nazi spy in Billy Wilder’s film ‘Stalag 17’.

His popularity received another upsurge in the 1980’s when he sent up his straight character with a masterful comedic performance in the spoof disaster movie, ‘Airplane!’ His career spanned 60 years and in his later life he became a trusted figure in commercials, with many people saying he should go into politics.

His older brother was James Arness, who shot to fame as Marshall Matt Dillon in TV’s ‘Gunsmoke’. Graves changed his name to that of his grandfather’s to avoid confusion with his older sibling. He later said of the Airplane films that he had been worried about taking the role sending up his previously serious image commenting, “I thought I could lose a whole long acting career”.

For more on his life go to <a
