Ice On The Moon: Radar Experiment

A recent radar experiment, which was being carried out aboard India’s Chandrayaan-1 Moon vehicle, has identified thick deposits of water-ice near to the Moon’s North Pole. NASA is all set to launch space shuttle Atlantis today, Monday November 16, 2009. There will be six astronauts on board who will be delivering a huge amount of spare parts for the International Space Station.
