I can remember as a kid my dad being a bin collector and collecting everyone’s rubbish, although he did not do the job for a long time, I remember it was hard work.

KCC will not panic at £25million cost crunch

It has been announced that Kent County Council have insisted that there will be no panic measures in place as it tries to cope with the economic downturn and rising prices which could cost them around £25million. It’s said that the credit crunch will put increasing pressure on their £1.5billion budget.

Parents Urged to register children for 11 plus

Parents like me have been urged today to register their children for the Kent Test after the county’s 11 plus exam moved to September. Its said that on Wednesday Kent County Council opened the registration process after the Schools Secretary, Ed Balls, gave the authority permission to move the tests from January last month.
