Oil prices dropped below $79 a barrel in Asia as a fierce storm is threatening oil installations on the Gulf of Mexico. Benchmark crude was down 83 cents to $78.60 a barrel in Singapore which was also trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Read more [Read more...]

We are well into the hurricane season and the ninth one has formed, Tropical Storm Ida is located in the southern Caribbean, which is just south of Nicaragua. The hurricane is producing a lot of rain and thunderstorms, winds are reaching speeds of 57mph. Read more [Read more...]
