UFC 142 Entire Rio Fight Card: Plus Full Weigh-in Video

UFC 142 is all steam ahead at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro tomorrow, Saturday January 14. Although the main even to Lesnar vs. Overeem may have disappointed at UFC 141, the fight between Diaz and Cerrone certainly made up for it. Let’s hope we see some similarly good action from Rio. We have details of the full UFC 142 fight card and also a video below this story showing the weigh-in.

The headline fight for UFC 142 will be a featherweight championship bout between Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes and many of you will also be looking forward to the middleweight bout of Vitor Belfort vs. Anthony Johnson. However while Aldo and Mendes both made their weights at the weigh-in today, Anthony Johnson was 11 pounds over. UFC president Dana White slammed Johnson for being “totally unprofessional.” The fight will still go ahead with Johnson having to give up 20% of his purse, as long as Johnson weighs less than 205 pounds at a second weigh-in tomorrow. All the others on the fight card made their weights.
