2010 Scream Awards: Winners and Scream 4 trailer video

Last night the Scream Awards 2010 took place, the annual ceremony that honors the very best in sci-fi, fantasy, comics and horror. Although the ceremony took place and the winners are now known, the event is not being televised until Tuesday October 19 on Spike TV at 9:00 pm, so if you don’t want to know the results then don’t carry on reading.

Last night’s award show had some wonderful moments such as Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who embraced in front of the famous DeLorean car from the movie “Back to the Future.” The smash hit that people still hold fondly years later won the 25th Anniversary Award. The new trailer for “Scream 4″ was also shown and you can watch the video below this story. Best Horror Movie went to “Zombieland,” and Bill Murray turned up in full Ghostbuster’s kit to pick up the award, according to Soraya Roberts over on NY Daily News.

Best Final Farewell went to “Lost”, who else, with the cast making a popular appearance and Most Anticipated Movie went to “Green Lantern.” The Best Villain award was given to Mickey Rourke for “Iron Man 2” while Best Horror Actor was won by Alexander Skarsgard for “True Blood.” As expected many of the plaudits went to “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” with Kristen Stewart making an appearance to receive Ultimate Scream and also the Best Fantasy Movie awards as well as the Best Actress in an Fantasy award.

Brooding hero, Robert Pattinson, won Best Actor in a Fantasy (was it ever going to be anyone else!) for “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and an award also went to Xavier Samuel for Breakout Male Performance for the same film.
