Medal of Honor: PC Multiplayer Open Beta – Download now but hurry
We’ve been keeping you up-to-date with all the latest developments surrounding the much-awaited game Medal of Honor, including news on the PS3 multiplayer trailer and also more recently the story that Electronics Art was going to remove the references to the Taliban, calling them the Opposing Force instead. We also told how the PC Multiplayer Open Beta would be available for a limited period.
News today is that the Medal of Honor Multiplayer Open Beta for PC gamers is now available but will only be available until October 7, so not very long to get your hands on it. It will be long enough though for gamers to get some idea of what to expect from the next instalment, set in Afghanistan and using real-world weapons according to GameGuru.
With reference to the pulling of the Taliban name, Medal of Honor’s Executive Producer, Greg Goodrich said, “All elements beyond the substitution of the Taliban team name in the multiplayer portion of the game will remain unchanged. We have released this PC Multiplayer Open Beta to let players see for themselves.”
This is a real chance to get a feel for the game before its actual release next week on October 12 in the U.S. or on October 15 for Europe so if you want to take part you just need to download it from the Medal of Honor website, but hurry as it’s for a limited time only.
