‘Endhiran’ Movie Reviews: ‘Robot’ Film Receives Positive Response

The much-anticipated “Endhiran” movie opened up in theaters worldwide today, and it looks like the film is definitely living up to all the hype. I thought I would take a look at a couple of online reviews, and let’s just say the ‘Robot’ movie is receiving some positive responses.

As reported by AK Dubey over at first14.com, film critic and reviewer Nikhat Kazmi believes that “Endhiran” will break all records previously set by movies in the Indian cinema. The special effects have been described as extraordinary, and the movie’s plot has received praise.

According to Riyanki over at bollypatrika.com, the film stars Rajnikanth as both the scientist and the Robot, and Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai as the Robot’s love interest. This article also praises the visual effects, claiming they are something that’s never been done in an Indian film before.

Some Rajnikanth fans were even seen queuing outside the theaters from 3am, just to get their hands on tickets to the movie. Meanwhile, an article over at wsj.com looks at a few responses. NDTV’s Anupama Chopra says the “Endhiran” story is ambitious.

Aniruddha Guha of The Daily News and Analysis said that he loved the film, and described it as one of the most entertaining Indian movies ever made. Feel free to let us know what you think of the movie, once you have been to see it. Will you be going to watch it this weekend?

    endhiran rockz.first half full of comedy and entertanments.second half full of graphics work done quite extra ordinarly.My request to all of you is don't miss it please do watch it.its the best indian filim made ever in its standards.
    i would give 5/5 for endhiren.superb. rajini rockzzzzzzzzzz,sankar Rockzzzzzzzzzzz.Hats off to A.R.Rahman.Overall a good team work and not to forget superb work by Ash.GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Enthiran movie is a real special one in the entire Indian film industry no one has made a film of that stature till date and i am happy to tell you that i saw it first day first show..also its one of the best technical movie produced till date in indian film industry with all the visual effects and also the acting of all the actors also the direction and music scored by ar rahman..super star rajni once again proves that no one can come to his heights in acting and as well as style….aish is superb..i request all the people not to miss this movie and also go to the theatre and see this film where the real experience they can feel…

    Comedy is worse. Climax is not interesting since its already predictable. Hero rajni is MOKKA. Actually SIVAJI is better than ENDHIRAN. Screenplay is lagging somewhere. But SHANKAR’S graphics work in ENDHIRAN dominates & background music also well. ENDHIRAN is good to see for Graphics movie lovers. Anyway WE CAN ADJUST ENDHIRAN TO SEE ONCE SINCE IT IS MADE ON HIGH BUDGET & HARDWORK FOR 2 YEARS.

    To simply put, the movie is absurd and rajnikant looks too old and no good songs (1 is decent). As usual outrageous getups and makeups. Absolutely no charaterization for other artist atall From the film point of view what saves the movie is his blind fans???

    I watched in Dallas, TX with my friend this evening show. We were 8 in total. just EIGHT. All the hype about USA tickets sold off is nonsense. I will note this as the WORST movie of Rajni's in my life. BABA was 100 times better than this. I pity distributors. SUCKS big time. What a waste of money…I had to spend USD 21 for this crap.

    This was a superb movie with it living up to all the hype in the press.

    I cannot wait to see it again just to appreciate the acting of Rajni nad Aish who is drop dead gorgeous.

    Both of you make India extremely proud.

    "Who is the black sheep…Vasi…mmmeeaaa…mmmeeaaaaa…….." This one dialogue enough to prove Rajini's performence. Citti will live long in hearts for generation.

    u guys will never change …wht u expect ….tell…can do ur own lifes things properly but….u know hw to point out others work….which is done with huge efforts…some one wants suspense…some one says …everythng is done in Hollywood movies ………….bullshit…we want our hero to be there in that character …is it possible for nay indian director to go in hollywood and make movie ……or atleast an indian director who can fetch that mucg money to make a movie…tell me single movie with this kind of graphics and this kind of taking………..before commenting think once and think that in which kind of world we are in is it possible in india……..any any of the film makers in iindia could do that …….or could at least live e expectation……dont talk like idiots without any sense and dont write rubbish……….this movie is a great acheivement in indian cinmea……must be appreciated for its efforts………
