American Idol Season 10: LA added to auditions

To some of us it may feel as though this last season of American Idol has only just wrapped up, but auditions for American Idol Season 10 are in progress and you may be interested to know that another venue has been added, that of the Forum in Los Angeles.

There’s still wild speculation going on about who will be the new judges after the departure of Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and now reports that also Kara DioGuardi is now leaving, with rumored replacements to be Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. However there’s one thing that’s not in doubt and that was the additional auditions slot in Los Angeles.

Ken Warwick, Idol executive producer, said in a statement announcing LA as the seventh and final auditions location, “This summer we have had an exceptional turnout – both in the number of people auditioning and the level of their talent. Los Angeles has always delivered great talent, and so we feel it only fitting that we end our 10th season audition tour here in our home city,” according to a report by Scott Weber over on nbclosangeles.com.

People between the ages of 15 and 28 are eligible to audition, with registrations beginning on September 21 and auditioning on September 22. For full details on Idol Auditions click on the link.
