Black Ops Multiplayer Reveal Times Announced

Black Ops is the next game in the Call of Duty franchise. Looking at the trailers that have been released, Treyarch are looking to take what was good about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and amplify it.

According to a post on the Digital Warfare 24/7 forum, the Black Ops multiplayer reveal will be taking place in the US from 8pm to 11pm. For those in the UK, that’s 3AM, 4AM in Paris, 5AM in Italy and Stockholm, 11AM in Philadelphia and 9PM in Chicago.

Sadly this means that those like me will have to wait till tomorrow morning to find out the new details, but they will certainly be reported on tomorrow morning on Only Kent, so check back then. Call of Duty: Black Ops will be avaliable on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

    I hate to be skeptical but since the birthing of MW2 I’m turned off by the prospect of any new COD game. I’m hoping I’m wrong and BO turns out to be absolutely mindblowing and it’s MP is even better than COD4. But I really don’t have any high expectations for the game until I see some general player consensus done.

    I looked forward to this game and pre-ordered it as many of us did. Played a few levels and had to check out the multiplyer mode. Have to say I was VERY disappointed. The graphics look very boxy and reminded me of the first Doom, especially the map with the grass lawn and dummies standing around (WTF)…the grass looked so artificial and the mannequins (sorry…civilians)looked so out of place…if they really wanted to have people there they should have made them more realistic and have them move around but I guess that would be asking too much given the fact that the players faces look amazingly pixelized. But I guess the biggest disappointment was the sound effects..and I mean ALL sound effects. Cobra attack helis are as quiet as cobra snakes and you can hardly hear them when they are around…end of game sounds are really lame and lack drama.
