Hurricane Danielle 2010 latest path – Wanes to Category 2

We’ve been bringing you updates about Hurricane Danielle and yesterday it had reached storm Category 4 and its path was heading east of Bermuda with sustained winds of 135mph.

The latest information says that the hurricane’s force is lessening and it’s now rated as a Category 2 storm, according to an AFP report. The National Hurricane Center in Miami said, “”Little change in strength is forecast during the next 24 hours, and gradual weakening is expected to begin on Sunday and Sunday night.”

The good news is that the storm path is heading north and should therefore miss Bermuda as it will be a long way east by the time it passes tonight. Early this morning the center of the storm was 340 miles southeast of Bermuda with sustained winds of 110 mph.
