UFC 118 Fight Card and Preview: Co-main event

This Saturday night sees UFC 118 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, this time coming with a co-main event. Recent UFC’s have been getting better and better and if we get any bouts as exciting as UFC 117’s Silva vs Sonnen we’re in for a good night.

The pre-fight press events have already taken place with the traditional stare downs and press questions and later on today we’ll be seeing the weigh-ins. One of the co-main events is the Heavyweight title bout of Randy Couture vs James Toney, according to HotCappers. At the press event Couture remained a man of few words making clear he preferred to do his fighting in the cage.

The other main event is Frankie Edgar vs BJ Penn who will be in a rematch many had waited to see for the Lightweight Title. Other bouts, according to Beau Dure and Sergio Non on USAToday are:-
Lightweight – Kenny Florian vs Gray Maynard
Middleweight – Demian Maia vs Mario Miranda
Welterweight – Nate Diaz vs Marcus Davis
Lightweight – Joe Lauzon vs Gabe Ruediger
Lightweight – Andre Winner vs Nik Lentz

We’ll be bringing you news from the weigh-in and of course UFC 118 itself so check back in. What bout are you most looking forward to watching tomorrow night and also we’d like your predictions for the winners? Why not send us a comment with your thoughts.
