Apple iPod Touch 4G: August Event?

Rumor or not, Apple may be holding their media event in San Francisco earlier than expected in the month of August. Usually, the event takes place every year in the month of September when new iPod models along with other Apple products are introduced to the world of technology.

As Bertrand Vasquez reported at Erictric, “a reliable source within Apple” has commented that this event could take place between 14 and 16 August 2010. At this time this may only be rumor but if this is true, the media event could see Apple showcasing their next generation iPod Touch 4G. This next device is believed to have features such as a front-facing FaceTime camera, as well as rear camera along with internal gyroscope. Fans of Apple may be lucky to see the new iOS 4 for the iPad at the same time.

For now, this is only speculation! But for avid fans of Apple, this may be the event to look forward to.

    There have been so many rumors and "leaks" about the iPod Touch 4/4G for about two years now, and there is one problem. They're rumors, but don't get me wrong. I'm excited about this new installment and I am definitely getting one the day it arrives but I am not sure. So I am going to use this media event as a confirmation about the release of the new iPod Touch.
