StarCraft 2: Release of first patch

You will already know of the immense popularity of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty after its release last week. This much-awaited and much-longed for game has already found its place at the top of the gaming market and has gathered a huge amount of fans in a short space of time.

We’ve already posted on cheats available, and also given you an idea of what the reviews have said in answer to the critic’s complaints about pricing issues. Now an article on ActionTrip tells how Blizzard has already issued the first patch for StarCraft II.

A couple of technical glitches have been targeted by this patch, 1.0.1, but as yet there’s no news about the patch addressing the overheating problems of the game, that some users have observed.
Blizzard says that the patch will optimize campaign saves and also another problem with the sound not working on some 7.1 systems should be resolved.
