New Photo: iPhone HD Could Be 2010 Release Name

All the excitement is building up with the expected announcement of the next-generation iPhone tomorrow at Apple’s WWDC 2010. Steve Jobs will be making the keynote and if the iPhone 4G is not launched there’ll be an awful lot of disappointed people. The phone has been referred to commonly as the iPhone 4G, but we recently told in an article how the phone may actually be called the HD.
We’ve discovered a photo today on Twitpic, that seems to imply this could be right. The photo is posted by MarcoTPH and appears to show promotional material saying iPhone HD, with the caption “Smarter, Better, Faster”. The image also shows the handset in a variety of colors.
This is a great snippet of information for those of you eager to know the very latest about the new iPhone and if it’s real it does look as though the iPhone HD name may be correct. As far back as May 6 we told how the new iPhone was set to have HD video recording and that was when we first speculated it may be called the iPhone HD.
To take a look at the picture go to Twitpic. What do you think of the image? Do you think it likely now that we have indeed seen a glimpse of what may be revealed tomorrow and the name will finally be confirmed? We’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
