May Day 2010: Activities for kids, crafts, wordsearch & printable coloring pages

Tomorrow is May Day, May 1, and people love to celebrate over this special weekend. It’s a time that signifies that spring is here all over the world, and we imagine you might want to share in some May Day activities with your kids.

We’ve had a look to see what’s available and have found several useful resources that we think will give you everything you need to keep your kids amused. For example if you go to DLTK-Kids, you’ll see a great selection of May Day craft activities to share with your children. There are baskets to make, and a May Day pole, May Day wordsearch, and even May Day poetry and lots more.

Or for even more craft ideas take a look at Kaboose, where you’ll see paper flower making, paper plate baskets and other May Day craft novelties. If your kids like to color there are some great printable coloring pages at Fantasy Jr., with pictures of baskets and flowers to print out.

We hope you’ll find a few ideas that you really want to use. Why not let us know what your kids enjoy doing for May Day, or other ideas to celebrate?
