For all you unlucky-in-love men out there looking for a way to get a girlfriend, it seems as though an iPhone actually makes men more attractive to women, according to a new survey conducted by Phones4U. Apparently 1500 women were questioned for the survey and 54% of them said they would be more likely to out with a man if he had an iPhone.

According to an article from reghardware.co.uk a staggering 37% of women also said that men who owned an iPhone actually seemed more reliable. I cannot begin to imagine how the model of a man’s phone makes a difference to their perceived reliability but it seems it does for some women.

It may also have something to do with the fact that some women see an iPhone owner as somebody who would know a bit about tech stuff, as one respondent, a primary school teacher from London, said that “There’s just something about a man who’s good with computers that makes him more trustworthy”.

I can’t help feeling this lady could be easily fooled as in my experience there’s certainly no correlation between being knowledgeable about computers and being trustworthy…still if it works for her! Other things that helped a chap with the ladies was having a good profession and a familiarity with soap, so for all you desperate guys out there, a bar of soap is certainly cheaper than an iPhone.
