NCAA 2010: March Madness Round of 8 Bracket , Xavier & Cornell both out

Over to the NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010 where we’re getting closer to knowing the Round of 8. After last night’s games we have 4 teams through, and we’ll learn the fate of more later. The latest news is that Kansas State beat Xavier which means that Kansas State will be facing Butler in their next game.
That’s because Butler defeated Syracuse and so the Butler vs. Kansas State game will be played on Saturday March 27 at 4:30 p.m. EST. The other two through to Saturday’s matches means Kentucky vs. West Virginia as they defeated Washington and Cornell.
The next four teams to play on Friday will be UNI vs. Michigan State and Tennessee vs. Ohio State. The winners of these will play on Sunday March 28. Finally we’ll see the last 4 of the Sweet Sixteen play which will be Duke vs. Purdue and Baylor vs. St. Mary’s.
So that’s it for now, we know 4 for the Round of 8. We’ll be taking a look at tonight’s games and then we’ll know the next 4 through. Have you been enjoying the basketball? What’s been the highlight for you so far?
