The company are said to have made the announcement yesterday (Monday). The new cell site apparently expands 3G wireless coverage in the Oakland area north on MacArthur to Maples Street, south to Highway 580, west to Jordan and east on 35th to Sutter.
According to the report, Verizon Wireless has said that with this new expansion, its ongoing network investment in California now totals an estimated $7.5 billion. Do you live in the Oakland area at all? If you do then is this good news for you?
