Apple iPad Tablet Accessories Delayed by a Month

Apple iPad Tablet Accessories Delayed by a Month

The Apple iPad Tablet was available for Preorder a few days ago for shipping on April 3 – but we have just learned that some of the accessories will not be released on the same day. One item that we thought was going to be available on the same day was the iPad was the Keyboard Dock; this will now be shipped in May.

Another accessory is the iPad case; this was due for shipping on April 3 – this will now be launched sometime in mid April. There is some good news though; the keyboard-less iPad Dock and VGA adapter are still showing a ship date of April 3.

According to PC World, these delays could have something to do with the high demand – this was not the case before the iPad came up for pre-order though. Another accessory delayed is the iPad USB power adapter – do dot worry, you still get one in the box.

If you have not pre-ordered your iPad yet, Apple still has plenty left for April 3 release – perfect if you are still saving up.

Hmm, Definately an interesting post, was looking to buy direct, but hopefully getting the iPad WiFi model by 6th April straight from the US by using the BundleBox service and with no import duty a saving on £30 to boot isn't bad

Although it won't be the 3G capable model, you can simply buy a device in the UK such as MiFi by Three, which is essentially a 3G mobile broadband dongle with sim (pay as you go or pay monthly) except that it masquerades as a WiFi access point and allows you to connect directly if you don't have a 3G inbuilt
