Geneva Motor Show 2010: Porsche Hybrid Concept Car

The Geneva Motor Show 2010 is now underway and the concept cars are as popular as ever, but what’s this…believe it or not, it’s a Porsche Hybrid. The Porsche 918 Spyder Concept looks like becoming the hottest thing at the Motor Show.
This year the 918 Concept looks set to take the place of the Carrera. Built with a 6.2 liter, V-8 engine, and a drive system, it could preview a new supercar in a market where they had been declining.
Porsche predict it will be a couple of years before the Spyder is ready, but most customers would happily bear the wait to get their hands on 9200 rpm, 500 horsepower output and 78mpg fuel capability.
On the front and back axles there are also electric motors, and all these things combine to be irresistible to the Porsche enthusiasts out there. For more details and photos go to gather.com. Have you seen the Spyder yet and what do you think? Do you want one, or is that a stupid question?
