Texas Primary Election 2010 Results: Margin victory for Rick Perry

Republican Rick Perry – the 47th and incumbent Governor of Texas – is currently running for a record third term in office as the Governor of Texas. And according to a report at beforeitsnews.com, it looks like he’ll take control for yet another record term.
With the 2010 Texas Primary Election results already starting to come in, it definitely shows a margin of victory for Rick Perry. The results that have come in so far, shows that Governor Rick Perry is winning with over 50 percent of the Primary votes.
The many recent polls have showed Rick Perry to have overwhelming support among the Republican voters, but not the 50% margin that is required to end the race on March 2nd, 2010. According to lalate.com, Rick Perry has 53%, with 311,448 votes.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson has 31% at the moment with 174,928 votes, and Debra Medina has just 16% with 93,221 votes. And on the Democrat side of things; it looks like Bill White is in the lead with 76% and 191,368 votes counted so far.
