There was a shock on Day 5 at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics when Germany powered to the top of the medal table, with the 4 medals it won yesterday. The US had dominated the tables since the start of the games.
The Bleacher Report says that although the US stays in second position for now, France is very closely behind as the US failed to win any medals yesterday. Canada remains in fourth position with a total of 5 medals, and then Korea and Switzerland who both have 4.
With 7 more medals up for grabs today we’ll wait to see if Germany can hold on to their lead. For full current medal table link to Vancouver 2010.com. where there is everything you can possibly need to know about the Winter Olympics.
Do you think the US can regain their place at the top or do you think the Canadians will be on a quest for home glory?

It would be nice to see the Canadians get top place, America dominate too much.
The odds are against it. There are more people living in California than in the whole of Canada.
Still, it would be nice to see the home team win.
