According to a recent report at examiner.com, it appears that Osama Bin Laden, leader of Al Qaeda, has taken a shot at the United States recently, by criticizing them and other industrialized nations for failing to slow the process of climate change.

A video that was apparently released on Friday by the Arab TV broadcaster Al Jazeera, showed Bin Laden talking about climate change. He said that the only way to prevent ruin was to fracture the U.S. economy and break reliance on the American dollar.

Bin Laden started off the video, by saying “This is a message to the whole world about those responsible for climate change and its repercussions. He then went on to say that speaking about it isn’t a matter of intellectual luxury, but an actual fact.

The recent tape is said to be Bin Laden’s second public announcement this month. A message was broadcast on Al Jazeera last week, in which Bin Laden praised the December 25th attempt to bring down the Detroit-bound plane.

In his latest message, which is the leader’s first that is solely dedicated to global warming, he demonized Washington’s ties to American corporations, calling them “the true terrorists” who are responsible for driving millions into poverty and unemployment.
