Update on devastation after the Chile earthquake: Death toll continues to rise

Sadly we have to report that after the tragic earthquake that hit Chile in the early hours of yesterday morning, the death toll continues to rise. Rescue workers are searching an area of over 600 km long looking for bodies and survivors and the numbers of dead are now over 700. Read more [Read more...]

Violent storms batter Europe killing over 50 people

Fierce storms have been raging around Europe today causing a series of fatalities in several different countries. Spain, Portugal and Germany have all reported people killed as a result of the storms, but France has had the most fatalities so far. Read more [Read more...]

Vancouver 2010: Steven Holcomb’s USA team take bobsleigh gold

At Vancouver 2010 the USA four-man bobsleigh team, led by Steven Holcomb took the gold medal with a historic victory.
