Today is Christmas Eve, which means that all your presents should have be bought. However, if you are like me then last minute shopping is the only thing that I know, and I am sure that thousands of men know what I am talking about. Do not worry though; stores are still open for you to get that one last present.

There are still a huge amount of stores staying open on Christmas Eve just for those who still have a few things to get, just think of those poor retail staff that are not at home enjoying the holidays with their families. Those stores will usually stay open until 6 p.m. after that and you are too late.

Christmas is a time for eating and drinking too much, so you will be pleased to know that many drug stores are open today as well for a few short hours on Christmas Day. This is the same for fast food chains; we have to wonder who would want to visit McDonald’s on December 25.

Movie theaters will be open on both days, but there are some big movie releases on Boxing Day. This is great if you have already become bored with the family.

The large stores are also open today, such as Walmart, Kmart and others. They know that this will be a big day for them in terms of sales, expect shelves to become empty early on, as shoppers rush to get their fruit, veg and other fresh groceries.
