Cold Weather in Europe Kills Over 100

According to recent reports from guardian.co.uk, over a 100 people have now been killed in the freezing weather that has been sweeping across Europe. The plummeting temperature and snowfall have caused death and disruption, in Germany, Italy and many other places.

In Poland alone, where the temperatures are said to have dropped to as low as -20C in some areas, 42 people died over the weekend, although many of those were homeless. Since temperatures dropped in the Ukraine last week, 27 people have been reported to have frozen to death.

Temperatures in Germany, were believed to have fallen as low as -33C in certain parts. The freezing conditions have not only brought death but also disruption to millions, with traffic jams and flight cancellations. Ryanair and Easyjet are among some of the airlines to have canceled flights.
