According to recent news reports from huliq.com, Unilever have recently conducted a voluntary nationwide recall of their Slim-Fast ready-to-drink products that come in cans, due to the result of bacterial contamination.
The ready-to-drink products are said to be contaminated with Bacillus Ceruesm, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps anywhere from just 30 minutes, to 15 hours after it has been consumed.
And according to the reports, the Slim-Fast recall is to take place in Canada as well, with Unilever Canada making the same statement. The recall is said to involve products in 4,6 or 12 can packages, as well as single can sales.
