Tomorrow (Tuesday December 1st), is World AIDS Day. Many people from all over the world have been or will be doing their part, to raise awareness of the disease. In some countries, they have even arranged World AIDS Day concerts.
And according to pinknews.co.uk, leader of the UK Conservative Party David Cameron has done his part recently, by delivering a World Aids Day message. He starts off his message, by sending his thoughts to everyone who is affected by AIDS and HIV.
David then goes on to say that despite all the progress that has been made in preventing the spread of HIV, more than 2 million people are still dying of AIDS every year, which roughly works out at one person dying of AIDS every 15 seconds.
The Conservative Party leader then goes on to say that we need effective action to deliver universal access to AIDS prevention, care and treatment. David says that it is one of the reasons why he has said to stand by their pledge.
