As we mentioned earlier today, the Atlantis Space Shuttle was due to return to Earth today, after its 11-day mission to the International Space Station, where the shuttle and its six-member crew were delivering 15 tons of spare parts.
And according to gizmopassion.com, the Atlantis Space Shuttle did exactly that and finally touched down at the Kennedy Space Center, at 9:44 am on Friday morning. Reports say the weather was nice and chilly as Atlantis touched Earth.
Reports say that NASA’s next shuttle flight Endeavour, is scheduled to deliver more supplies to the space station. At the same time, astronaut Nicole Stott, who returned home today, will be back staying aboard the station for 3 months.
You can read more on the story here. And you can watch the video of the Atlantis Space Shuttle landing, on the video below this post.
