According to reports from gather.com, it appears that not even the fact that today is Thanksgiving Day, is going to stand in the way of some eager shoppers. While many want to spend the day with family, others still want to catch those bargains.

And it looks like some stores are realizing this and opening on Thanksgiving. One of the stores in question is Walmart. They are apparently opening their doors today, from 7am, until 7pm. But you may want to double check, as it might not be all of them.

But for those people that go in the hope of finding bargains, may be a little disappointed. This is because the deals can really be found on Black Friday 2009, which as you all will know is the day after Thanksgiving. So it might be worth waiting a day.
