Veterans Day Free Meals: Applebees and Locations

Veterans Day Free Meals: Applebees and Locations

Veteran’s Day is today, November 11, 2009 and there are a number of events planned for today, there is also news that eating establishments are offering discounts for the military. One company doing this is Applebees Restaurants, who have announced that they are to offer a free meal to the military.

Gather.com has said a funny little quote, when people say that there are no free lunches, this is not true for today, as there is. Those who are eligible for a free meal are active duty U.S. military and veterans at a number of Applebees across the U.S.

The offer a free meal only applies on Veterans Day, you will need to show proof of you being in the service or had been in the service by wearing your uniform or bringing in your military ID.

This is such a nice way for Applebees to honor those who fight or who have fought for their country. For locations of Applebees Restaurants, click here.
