The 234th Marine corps Birthday Ball, which was due to take place at the Hyatt Hotel this Friday is now going to take place at the Micronesian Room in the Hilton Guam Resort and spa at 6.00pm this Friday November 13th.

One Couple who will be attending the ball are Brooke and Gunnery Sergeant Anthony Kratz. Brooke has just recently celebrated Anthony’s return from Iraq and now they have more to be happy about, as they are also celebrating 20 years of marriage.

Mrs Kratz said “ When you’re apart you remember how much you love each other, it’s not that you can’t live without each other, you don’t want to live without each other ” The couple have joined more than 1000 other people for the cake cutting ceremony, the event was hosted by Col Terry Reid and took place in the maintenance center.
