Jason Rodriguez in Custody Following Orlando Shooting

Two years after Jason Rodriguez was fired from his job at an engineering firm, the former employee decided to get his own back on his former co-workers. And that’s exactly what he did yesterday, when he walked into his old workplace and starting shooting people.
According to washingtonpost.com, the employees recognized their former co-worker, as he drew a handgun from underneath his shirt and killed his first victim in the reception area. He was then said to have entered the office, where he unloaded a few more rounds.
But reports say that several hours after the shooting on Friday, 40-year old divorced Jason Rodriguez, who wounded five other people in the shooting, was taken into custody. Police say that he will now be charged with first-degree murder, as well as some other crimes.
When asked by officers why he had done it, Rodriguez said “Because they left me to rot.” Jason blamed his old firm for some recent trouble he had receiving unemployment benefits. He was then said to have apologized and said he was going through a tough time.
