Is The H1N1 Vaccine Safe: Obama’s Daughters get Jab

For those of you who were wondering if the H1N1 vaccine was safe, then the news that Barack Obama’s daughters have received the jab will hopefully answer that question. Malia, 11, and Sasha, 8 was given the vaccine after it became available to Washington, D.C. schoolchildren.
A White House physician administered the H1N1 vaccine to the president’s daughters, which they applied for from the D.C. Department of Health. The first lady’s Press Secretary said that they received the vaccine “using the same process as every other vaccination site in the District.”
The U.S. president and the first lady have yet to receive the vaccine to try to prevent an outbreak of swine flu; they are waiting until all the target groups have been given their jabs first. According to ABC News, that target group is pregnant women; people under 24 and those with underlying conditions.
We mentioned in a recent article that Barack Obama declared a national emergency, making it easier to bypass red tape.
