Tropical Storm Paloma

Today a new Tropical Storm called Paloma has formed in the Caribbean; it’s the 16th during the Atlantic hurricane season of 2008 and tropical storm Paloma is expected to turn into a hurricane.

Its path is looking to threaten Cuba, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The storm formed at 4am EST around 70 miles to the east of Cabo Gracias a Dios. This is on the Nicaragua-Honduras border.

It now looks like Tropical Storm Paloma is moving north-northwest with 40mph maximum sustained winds and at 7 miles per hour. It’s also being report that this storm can turn into a hurricane on Friday.
