Handbags, chocolate, jewellery and clothes all feature in a one-off Christmas shopping event for women being hosted by the G Casino at Westwood Cross, East Kent’s largest shopping and leisure destination.

The Just For the Girls event, which is free to enter, is on Tuesday November 25 from 7pm and has been organised by G Casino’s sales and events manager Sheriil Hawker.

Sherrill said: “We thought it would be fun to get a load of stalls together under one roof and host a girlie night in. Everyone will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly then get the chance to shop, chat and maybe even have a flutter on the gaming tables.

“We’ve got some big names coming, including the Body Shop, H&M, Thorntons, Claire’s, Dorothy Perkins and JJB Fitness, as well as hair and beauty products and jewellery.This is your chance to do some Christmas shopping in a relaxed atmosphere – or to simply indulge and pamper yourself.”

Westwood Cross Retail and Leisure complex includes more than 40 shops and restaurants, Mecca Bingo and a multi-screen Vue Cinema. There is free parking on site.
