Horwath Clark Whitehill Strengthens Tax Team

Leading Kent accountancy firm Horwath Clark Whitehill (HCW) has strengthened its tax team with the appointment of Sue Hidson.
Sue, 44, joins the Maidstone office of HCW from Kent-based Dendy Neville having previously worked for three of the Big Four accountancy firms in the UK – PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG and Ernst & Young. She has also worked as a lecturer and writer for the Financial Training Partnership.
The mother of two teenagers, who also has three stepchildren, joins the firm as Tax Manager.
Sue, who lives in Hempstead, and enjoys playing badminton and swimming in her spare time, said: “I am very excited about my new role with HCW, which will allow me to work across a number of diverse client accounts. I have considerable experience in corporation tax and look forward to working across a broader tax spectrum with larger corporate clients.”
Mike Subert, a partner at HCW, said: “Sue’s appointment is a great boost to our tax team here in Kent and her experience will prove very beneficial to our existing client base.”
