Earthquake In South-Western Pakistan: At least 150 people killed

According to reports there have been at least 150 people have been killed and many more injured and around 15,000 people have been made homeless in an Earthquake that has hit south-western Pakistan.

The Earthquake is said to have hit two hours before dawn in the province of Baluchistan, and the worst hit area is said to be Ziarat.

According to the US Geological Survey the Earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 and was a shallow 10 miles below the surface. At present the army are said to be rushing medical teams on helicopters to villages in the Earth quake zone.
