Chris Mims was a former defensive lineman for the San Diego Chargers, and today we are hearing that he has been found dead in his downtown Los Angeles apartment.

Currently it is being reported that there was no evidence of foul play, Chris Mims was found just before nine thirty in the morning by police officers that were conducting a welfare check.

While Mims retired in 2000, during his career he had played eight seasons in the NFL, one with the Washington Redskins and another seven with the Chargers. He managed to play 104 games. What are your memories of Chris Mims? R.I.P
