Kent Led Zep fans disappointed that Robert Plant has ruled out the supergroup reuniting for a UK tour can instead catch some of the band’s greatest hits being performed live by one of the country’s top tribute bands.

Led by Zeppelin will be playing the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford on 25 October and the Sinden Theatre, Tenterden on 1 November.

The gigs will see the debut of the band’s new line up with Paul Lawrence (Jimmy Page) and Iain Paul Cobby (John Paul Jones) joined on stage by David Watts (John Bonham) and Simon Saxby (Robert Plant).

“We’re back and better than before,” said Ashford resident Paul Lawrence, who by day is Communications Manager for Charing-based frozen food specialist Ardo UK. “We’re delighted that David and Simon are joining. Both are very experienced musicians – Simon has supported Ozzy Osbourne and Saxon – and we’re going to have a whole lotta fun!”

The shows will feature such Led Zep classics as Whole Lotta Love and Kashmir as well as some of the more gentle acoustic numbers such as ‘Going to California’.

Tickets are available from the Mick Jagger Centre on 01322 291100 and the Sinden Theatre on 01580 763826
