The team from mhs Homes Group, the county’s largest independent landlord, showed that had what it takes when it was victorious in the 2008 IoD Inter-Team Challenge.
Held at Arena Pursuits, the outdoor pursuit centre nestled in the heart of the High Weald overlooking Bewl Water, the Inter-Team Challenge tested teams with a range of challenges to assess and develop their abilities in communication, planning, time management, creativity, initiative, decision-making and leadership skills.
The mhs Homes Group team were successful after pitting their skills in raft building, archery and quad biking against teams from Apex, Reeves+Neylan LLP, Kaslers Solicitors, KM Group and Kent Business.
Frazer Thompson, Chairman of IoD Kent Branch presented each member of the team with a bottle of Chapel Down Brut. He said: “Once again the Inter-Team Challenge was a great event and the tasks helped people to focus on achieving a clear goal in difficult conditions by working as a team, which is something the current cabinet could learn from the current economic conditions.”
The winning team from mhs Homes, which owns and manages more than 7,500 homes in Medway, included Isabelle Pocock, Stuart Maclellan, Frank Barber, Charles Brangwin and Emma Riddington.
