First Flight To Canary Islands from Kent International Airport

First Flight To Canary Islands
Sun, sea and sand – three vital ingredients of a classic summer holiday awaited the first holidaymakers jetting out this week from Kent International Airport to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands.

Tuesday’s (29 July) flight to Las Palmas, the capital, marked the opening of a route new for 2008 from Kent Escapes, one of the charter operators flying from Kent International Airport, near Ramsgate.

Sunshine breaks in Gran Canaria are available for the rest of the school summer holiday period, with a range of accommodation to suit all budgets from self-catering to five star luxury. The Canary Islands are off the Atlantic coast of Africa and are famed for their good weather and golden sand beaches.

Richard Burke, Managing Director of Seguro Holidays – the operators of Kent Escapes – said: “Gran Canaria has it all – lovely beaches, stunning scenery, great hotels and nightlife. What more could you want?”

As well as arranging late deals this summer, Kent Escapes is already taking bookings for next year when it will again be offering the route during the peak summer months.

Kent Escapes also offers holidays to Palma in Majorca from Kent International and is running a special deal throughout August with return flights for just £99 (including taxes).

Booking either destination is simple – you can visit the airport and book in person at Brockman’s Travel, log on to www.seguroholidays.com or call the friendly and experienced Kent Escapes sales staff on 0845 676 0043.

Kent International Airport offers a speedy, hassle-free experience with convenient car parking located less than 100 metres from the check-in desk and modern passenger facilities.
