As we know most schools break up this week and we are all wondering what we can do with our kids while they are off. Well here is something that is for 11 to 18 year olds it is called Summer Blast which will be held at Margate’s Hartsdown Park on the 24th July this is a free event that they can take part in.

Summer Blast aims to provide teenagers with an opportunity to discover a wide range of activities for them to get involved in during the summer. The type of activities covered are as follows gladiator activities, multi sports pitch, Joss Bay surfing activities, tug of war, golf simulator, junior crossbows and much more.

So what are you waiting for all the fun will begin at 1pm and goes on until 5pm and will be followed by a ticketed evening event until 8pm.

Featuring at the event this year is the Brighton-based band, Floors and Walls who have a chance to open this years V Festival.

For those of you who do not know what Engaging Youth does it is a multi agency forum which consists of over 30 different agencies and organisations all working together to put on free events and activities for young people in Thanet.
