Man arrested over stabbing of two French students in London

stabbing of two French students
Today we are hearing that a man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of two French students in London, the students (Gabriel Ferez and Laurent Bonomo) were tied and brutally stabbed to death earlier this week.

The man was taken to a southeast London police station and the police are appealing for more information and witnesses.

While we have seen an increased awareness of knife crime on UK Streets, this case is much more horrific as Ferez was stabbed 47 times and Bonomo had been stabbed 196 times.

The bodies were found by Firefighters after they responded to a fire in a south London cul-de-sac where Bonomo rented room, first thoughts by police was that the men died in the fire, they later realized that it was murder after a post-mortem exam.

Homicide detective, Mick Duthie said that he “had never seen anything like it in his career”; he also added that the murder of these two students was thought to be a brutal and horrific attack but not a professional one.

The police currently have no idea why the men had been killed but did say the apartment Bonomo lived in had been broken into a few days before the fire, they are looking to see if the two incidents were related in anyway.

I notice the media never wants to give the name , or the picture of the criminal. Only the victims. I wonder why that is?? Perhaps so we won’t profile the perps??
