Ron Paul Revolution Isn’t Over: leading a Campaign for Liberty

June 14th, 2008 · 6 Comments · Email This

I remember reading a lot about Ron Paul last year and got sold on the idea that he could be the next United States President; we even heard his followers say they would love to see him go it alone if he did not get the republican nomination. Now that we know Sen. John McCain is going to represent the republicans and Ron Paul has formally abandoned his campaign for the White House, what now for the Man?

Ron Paul has said the “Revolution Isn’t Over” and he is going to lead a Campaign for Liberty, his fans may have opinions of Ron Paul being blocked out by some of the worlds news organizations but now Ron Paul wants to give libertarians a bigger say within the GOP.

As Paul is now 72, we doubt very much that we will see him aim at the next race for president, its a shame as he does have fresh views and the internet has shown him to be the most popular for US president online. Ron Paul wants “grass-roots reforms on the Republican Party” and he promised to be “a permanent presence on the American political landscape”.

Its amazing that Ron Paul did not achieve a lot more than he did, he raised $34 million for his campaign and at the end of April there was still $4.7 million in the bank. The reason he did not get the republican nomination could be up for debate but then I guess that’s politics.

Would you have wanted Ron Paul as your US President?

If you don’t know the reason, you deserve not you position, even if you are an opinion writer or reporter.

Or mayby you are in the right position, simply reflecting the nations sheep, uninformed, too slow and uncaring to bother to get informed.

“I guess that’s politics” equates to George Carlin’s “Nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care, while the men in control who sold us all down the road 30 f-ing years ago, pilage this great land and continue to create debt slaves”.

Yes, of course I would have liked to see Ron Paul become president. A man of his calibur only comes around once in a lifetime. America really blew it this time.

Would I want Ron Paul as my president? You bet your socks I would. I have supported him along the way and now I hope this movement continues and grows and more Americans get educated about what is happening to our nation and to the world.

YES, I would have liked him to be the US President, and I WILL WRITE IN HIS NAME ON MY BALLOT, regardless. For me he is the obvious choice. No one has ever inspired me like he has, and I have been a voter since 1970.

As an avid supporter and assistant organizer in our local Ron Paul Meet-Up group, I firmly believed that he could be our next president. However, that was prior to my awakening to the sorry state of our election system, as well as the control of the main stream media which was firmly against Ron Paul and his message of freedom, peace and prosperity. He is most definitely the ONLY MAN in my lifetime, (I am a senior citizen) who I feel could lead us back to the principles of our forefathers and live once again under the rule of law. Having said all that, I still believe that there is a strong movement across our great land where people are waking up to truth, and we can all thank the good doctor for being our leader, and it is still possible that he COULD STILL BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT! Miracles occur on a daily basis, and if the prayers of many are heard on HIGH, it WILL HAPPEN!

Ron Paul’s Campaign For Liberty has just reached 50% of its membership goal — a goal set to be reached by September 2, 2008 — within its first three days. Why would so many jump on board with this organization so quickly? Go see for yourself at CampaignForLiberty.com
