It has been reported that three restaurants in Kent have been nominated as among the best eateries outside London. Its said that Read’s at Faversham, The Sportsman at Seasalter and Restaurant Apicius, Cranbrook, are in the Top 10 Restaurants Outside London category in this year’s London Restaurant Awards.

Amanda Biddle who is the Awards organiser said that “The standard of nominated restaurants across the country is exceptionally high and it will be an extremely tough competition.”

Charles Campion who is the Awards judge, food journalist said that “This list of nominees is proof that first class chefs and restaurants are not confined to the capital.”

Now I love eating out at different restaurants and can not wait to see what restaurants will be in the top 10. The top 10 restaurants will be announced on September 1 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane
