Man found on the railway line between Broadstairs and Dumpton has been identified

On Thursday last week a mans body was found on the a railway line between Broadstairs and Dumpton Park and today he has been identified as Anthony Daley who was 37 and its understood that he was from Newbury Court, The Crescent, Sidcup.
An inquest opened and adjourned into his death and it was said that Anthony’s body was found between the rails of the Ramsgate-bound track near the Bay View Road Bridge around 11am last Thursday. A British Transport Police spokesman said that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. He said that “The train driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital at Margate as a precaution.”
The main Ramsgate Road from Broadstairs to Swinburne Avenue was closed and traffic diverted around the area.
