Big Brother 9 Contestant Kathreya Kasisopa who has been named Cookie Monster is from Kent. Kathreya is a massage therapist who has a cookie obsession and it’s said that she is Big Brother’s first ever Thai housemate. Kathreya lives in Welling and she has said that she is not doing Big Brother for the £100,000 prize money but so people know who she is.

Kathreya came to the UK from Thailand around seven years ago to study, and has since become a British citizen. Her main obsession is cookies. Her dream is to travel the world and taste cookies in every country. This is why she is named the cookie monster. As a Thai massage therapist, Kathreya would love to one day open her own Thai massage agency, or alternatively open her own restaurant.

As we know Kathreya is a Buddhist and she believes strongly in Karma and will do anything to avoid an argument. Kathreya doesn’t take drugs or drink alcohol, and says that she doesn’t really understand British humour.
