Now the question that has to be asked is are the Dustmen being to Fussy when it comes to emptying our Wheelie Bins well to be the answer is yes they are. It’s reported that the other day the bin men refused to empty a wheelie bin because of teabag that was accidentally dropped into the recycling wheelie bin. Donald MacKenzie who is 74 and disabled had a note pushed through his door and it said that his bin would not be emptied as it included “food waste”.

Mr MacKenzie said that “It must have been dropped in by mistake, but this is so utterly stupid. Now I will have to wait two weeks for it to be collected. It’s full, so I will have to use my neighbour’s bin.”

Michael Lee who is the councillor in Blackburn, Lancs, said angrily that “This is ridiculous. If someone puts something in by mistake you speak to them and remind them not to.”

But this is not the only case that has happened because on Saturday it was reported that the bin men left care assistant Kate Shergold’s wheelie in Warminster, Wilts, because they could not move it with two fingers.

When are the Dustmen going to do their job properly and stop being so lazy. Regards to the tea bag they could have taken it out it would not have killed them. And just because they could not move the wheelie in with two fingers they would not empty it, what the hell are they getting paid for?

I have left my recycle bin out with a bit of cardboard on top which meant the lid could not quite close and they opened the bin took out the cardboard and then emptied it, what gets me is that they made all that effort to do that they might as well have just took it.

What are we paying our Taxes for?
